The historic landmark was a famous venue in the 1920s, hosting the first Oscar party and Judy
Garlands sixteenth birthday party. When the pub closed its doors in the 1950s, its glamour and
class was lost to the Hollywood community. Chris Breed and Alan Hajjar painstakingly restored the
landmark back to its former glory while adding a modern touch. New details include front stained
glass windows and a beautiful mahogany bar, while the original intricately carved wood beams still
soar 16 feet above the main dining room. A VIP room has intimate booths and an original tiled bar
for private parties. Pig N Whistle combines the best of old and new with a unique bastion of style,
historic headiness and solid American cuisine.
